Course Reflection

1. What did you learn and how have you grown as a digital artist?

I learned a lot about the different tools on photoshop that I didn't know how to use before taking this class. Before this class I didn't really know anything about photoshop and now I am able to use many of the tools on photoshop. I have grown as a digital artist because now I am able to use the tools photoshop has to offer to actually create images and I also know more about graphic design and what looks good and playing around with the positioning of different things so it looks the best.

2. What assignment are you most proud of? Why?

I am most pround of my digital abstraction peice because it took a lot of time and focus to finish it. I was abstracting people which was really difficult because there are many different elements like faces to do. It took a lot of time because I wanted it to look kind of real. I also had to do multilpe colors of skin tone so I could show the shadows.

3. What challenged you?

The most challenging part for me was how much patience I needed for each project because for a lot of the later projects there were a lot of different parts that all needed to come together. This was especially hard for the surrealism project because I had to make a photo of myself look like it was underwater.

4. If you had the course to take over again, what would you do differently?

If I took the course again I would try to come up with some more different and creative ideas for each project because in a lot of the earlier ones I feel like there would have been some ideas that would've turned out way better than what I chose to do.

5. What suggestions do you have for the teacher and/or for any future students taking this course?

For future students taking this class I would suggest to take your time with the projects because all of the projects could turn out really good if you be patient and put effort into it.
